Double A-Arm conversion for the rear suspension of the SW20! The ultimate MR2 suspension upgrade. Better camber curves, MUCH improved grip, AND much easier to drive at the limit. • Requires Wilhelm Raceworks rear knuckles.
• Existing rear knuckles with 3-bolt toe arms will need the toe arm sent back for modification.
• Requires a Rev 1 "short tie rod" rear cross member. I MAY produce an add on piece to convert the later long tie rod cross member to work but that has not been designed yet.
• 17"+ wheels are required.
• Short stroke coilovers are required. The double a-arm conversion does not allow sufficient droop travel to use stock struts.
• Installation of the front half of the Suspension Geometry Kit is recommended for optimal performance.

Kit Includes:

• Upper control arm boxes to be welded to chassis
• Cut template to locate upper a-arm boxes.
• Upper control arms
• Upper control arm adapters for knuckles
• Lower control arms
• Double shear lower control arm adapters for knuckles
• All bushings and hardware required for installation.

Installation and setup

Be aware, installation and setup is an 11/10 on the complexity scale. You are cutting holes in the side of the frame, and must securely weld the upper a-arm boxes in place.

Be prepared to DO YOUR OWN ALIGNMENT after installing this kit. You WILL NOT be able to take the car to Firestone and have them align it properly. Checking bump steer after installation is highly recommended. You might be able to get a good alignment from a specialized race shop, but I highly recommend learning to align it yourself.
